Vancouver's up-and-coming haute couture designer Malene Grotrian recently put on a little fashion show for all those who missed her New York Fashion Week debut. Here we go behind-the-scenes to show some of the preparation that goes into these events. On the left you can see a little sequence of photos showing Malene showing the models how she would like them to show off her designs and discussing the show with colleagues.

Below you will see a sequence on the left again taken at the Vancouver evening and then some of the runway shots from the New York show.
